We had an enjoyable installation of the officers meeting with pizza for all. Jennifer Jenkins installed the officers, which were president, Cathy Hildebrand; vice-president, Billie Steinkamp; treasurer, Gina Wolf; secretary, Emma Eldridge; recording secretary, Mary Venvertloh.
The Bar-B-Que will be our next official business. We will be making the German potato salad on Monday, August 10. Also, every night we will be making and serving meals to the Bar-B-Que set-up workers. So this will be a busy week for us officers and our helpers.
Mary Venvertloh is taking charge of our calling list, so please, when she calls, tell her “YES, I’ll be happy to take a list.”
Our next meeting will be September 15. It will be a catered Chinese meal with our traditional Chinese auction. Guys get ready because you will be invited to attend this function.
I will be heading to Colorado Springs, Colorado with a whole bunch of family to marry off my son, Jamie. his fiancé is a sixth grade school teacher and a sweet girl, even though she is taking my son away to live there. The wedding is July 18.

About Us
Ladies Auxiliary has five meetings per year. They are held on the third Tuesday of the month, except for the memorial mass, which is held on Sunday.
Meetings are held:
Ladies Auxilliary dues are $5.00 per year until the member reaches the age of 70. At that point, they become an honary member and dues are waived. Two of the main roles of being a Ladies Auxilliary member includes sponsoring the Ladies of Charity and assisting with supporting the club. Other duties include working in the serving lines at the annual K-of-C Bar-B-Que, finding individuals to donate pies, cakes, or other dishes, and helping with serving line washing.
